About Us

Heal Your World Through Tzedekkah

The word צדקה/Tzedekkah is often translated as ‘charity.’ While the translation isn’t wrong, it fails to capture the essence of the word. צדקה/Tzedekkah comes from the root of ‘צדק/Tzedek’, which means justice. Those of us fortunate enough to afford our daily bread have a responsibility and obligation to lift up our vulnerable brethren.

Dedicated Volunteers

From sourcing food to packaging, delivery and support, our passionate volunteers operate Ayekah with love.

The Dignity of Giving

Discreet giving means donors and recipients are unaware of each other. This is the highest form of charity according to Maimonides.
